Community Voices

A dedicated section highlighting grassroots perspectives, youth-led initiatives, and short video stories from across the Pacific. This ensures the Hub reflects the voices of those living and working closest to nature.

Youth Initiative

Young leaders from across the Pacific will come together with Indigenous knowledge holders, conservation practitioners, policymakers, and regional partners for the Pacific Biodiversity Youth Dialogue, a landmark youth engagement initiative to be held as part of the 11th Pacific Islands Conference on Nature Conservation.

Community Spotlight

Hear from traditional knowledge holders about their role in protecting sacred forests and maintaining biodiversity for future generations.

Community Spotlight

Kouaoua Valley is facing a serious ecological challenge, the overpopulation of invasive deer that has caused significant damage to native vegetation, degrading customary lands, and vital water resources. And a community-led initiative is showing how local leadership and traditional authority can drive environmental action.
